Geut is a self-discovery site. This page explains what data is collected when you use it, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Without signing in: your test answers stay in your own browser (localStorage), along with preferences like language and theme. If you fill in birth details in the birth-chart calculator or choose a location for the sky card, those are kept in your browser too (birth date, time and place, and the chosen location) until you clear the site data in your browser.

Questionnaire improvement data: when you finish the MBTI test we store the answers, response times, result, language and the grammatical gender you chose, to improve accuracy. If you rate whether the result fits you, that rating is stored too, together with the result and the runner-up type. Without signing in this is not linked to you; if you are signed in it is stored with your account ID.

Google sign-in: the name, email address and account ID provided by Google.

Personal profile (signed-in users): test results and details you choose to give, such as birth date, time and place and gender, used to calculate birth charts and Human Design.

Contact form: name, email and message.

How we use it

We use this data only to show you your results and profile, keep them across devices, answer messages and improve the questionnaires. We do not sell data or show ads.

Personality test results may count as information of special sensitivity. Results are stored in your account only when you choose to save them, and you can delete them at any time.

Usage measurement (Google Analytics) and cookies

Only if you agree in the notice shown when you arrive, we use Google Analytics to understand in aggregate how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how many people finish a test, and what kind of device they use. Page addresses are sent without the parameters at their end, so details carried in a link (such as a shared comparison link) are not sent to Google. Google stores cookies in your browser for this. Without your consent the tool does not load at all.

You can change your choice at any time with the button at the bottom of this page. Turning measurement off stops sending data right away and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Beyond that the site only uses your browser's local storage for preferences, results and the birth and location details you entered, and the cookies required for Google sign-in.

Who processes the data

Google Firebase (sign-in, database and hosting) and Google Analytics (only with consent). Servers may be located outside Israel.

OpenStreetMap Nominatim: when you type a birth place, the search text is sent to this service to find the location. When you tap "Use my location" on the sky card, the browser asks for permission, and if you allow it, approximate coordinates (to about 100 m) are sent to the service to find the place name.

Access to stored data is limited to the site owner, for operating and improving the service.

Your rights and deleting data

Deleting your account: on the profile page, under "Settings", the "Delete account and data" button deletes your profile and account.

Data stored in your browser can be removed through your browser settings (clear site data).

To see, correct or delete questionnaire-improvement data linked to your account, contact us through the contact page.

Security and retention

Database access is restricted by server-side security rules and all traffic is encrypted. Profile data is kept until you delete it; questionnaire-improvement data is kept while it is used to improve accuracy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with its date.
