Heart Center (Will / Ego)

Willpower, Ego, Value & Material World

4 gates4 channels

Motor center - a source of energy. When it connects to the Throat, things can be put into action directly.

When Defined

When the Heart center is defined, you have consistent access to willpower and the ability to make and keep promises. You have a natural sense of your own worth and value in the material world. You can commit to things and follow through with determination. Only about 30% of people have a defined Heart, so your willpower is a gift - but it needs rest. The Heart is a motor that works in bursts; it is not designed to exert willpower continuously. When used correctly, your will is powerful and reliable.

When Open

When the Heart center is undefined, you do not have consistent access to willpower. You may struggle with self-worth, feeling like you need to prove yourself or compete to demonstrate your value. Making promises can be dangerous - you may commit to things you don't have the will to sustain. The wisdom is knowing that your worth is not measured by what you can will yourself to do. You are not here to prove anything. When you stop trying to compete, you can discover your true value.

Biological Correlation

Heart muscle, stomach, gallbladder, and thymus - the center of willpower, courage, and immune system development
